Airport transfer in Galapagos

From Baltra Island, passengers have to take public transportation to the Itabaca Channel between Baltra and Santa Cruz Islands (no private transportation is available on Baltra Island). Passengers then cross the Itabaca Channel on a small ferry.

Public transportation awaits passengers on the other side of the channel and takes them directly to Puerto Ayora.  The total transfer time from the airport to Puerto Ayora is approximately 2 hours with either public or private transportation.
